NTCHISI DISTRICT COUNCIL INVITATION FOR BIDS DATE OF ISSUE: 21st May, 2026 REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR WORKS IN NTCHISI DISTRICT Ntchisi District Council has received funds from the Malawi Government under Regional Climate Resilience Program for Eastern and Sothern(RCRP 2) in its 2026/2027 Financial Year budget and intends to spend part of the funds through construct on works as outlined in the table below: LOT NO. Bidding will be conducted through open tendering procedures under National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in the Malawi Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets Act 2017 and Regulations of the Government of the Republic of Malawi, and are open to all Contractors/bidders from Eligible Source as defined in the Bidding Documents. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ntchisi District Council Offices; attention – Procurement and Disposal Officer on email: [enefulaye@gmail.com ], soft copies of the bid document maybe shared upon request by interested bidders, and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 08:00 to 12:00; 13:00 to 16:00 hour’s local time (Monday to Friday, except national public holidays). A complete set of Bidding Documents in English for both Lots may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of MK20,000.00. The method of payment will be cash. The Bidding Documents will be collected by the interested bidder. The procurement entity will hold a pre-bid meeting and site visit on 25th May 2026 at the DC’s Complex at 10:00am Bids must be valid for Thirty days after bid opening anc must be delivered to the address in 9(c) and deposited in a box marked “IPDC Tender Box” that is placed at the Entrance to Ntchisi District Commissioner’s Offices at or before 10.00 Hours Local Time on Wednesday 27th May 2026. All Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representative at Ntchisi Education office Conference Hall (You will be updated if there will be any changes). Late bics will be rejected.
